Compress, resize, convert, remove backgrounds — 14 free image tools
From shrinking a 10 MB iPhone photo down to email-friendly size, to stripping a background for a product shot, DocTools.CC Image Tools covers the everyday photo and graphic workflow with 14 free utilities — no Photoshop, no install, no sign-up.
Start with the basics: Compress Image (client-side for privacy, quality slider with side-by-side preview), Resize Image (pixels, percentage, or preset sizes like HD, 4K, Instagram), and Crop Image (drag-to-select with preset aspect ratios 1:1, 4:3, 16:9). Need to change the print resolution? Change DPI lets you set 72, 96, 150, 300 or 600 DPI metadata without re-encoding.
The star of the show is Remove Background — our AI model (U2Net, the same engine as Photoroom and Remove.bg) produces a transparent PNG or solid-colour replacement in seconds. Great for product photography, profile pics and marketing assets.
Format conversion is extensive: HEIC to JPG for iPhone photos, WebP to PNG, JPG to PNG, PNG to JPG, SVG to PNG, TIFF to JPG, and AVIF to JPG. Bulk job? Batch Image Converter handles up to 20 files at once and delivers a ZIP. Need branding? Add Watermark to Image stamps text or logo with adjustable opacity and position.
All tools are free with no limits. Server-side jobs run over HTTPS and files are deleted after 30 minutes; the Compress Image tool runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded at all.

Common questions about our images
We use U2Net, an open-source deep-learning model. Your image uploads over HTTPS to our isolated Celery worker, U2Net produces the mask, and the original plus the result are deleted after 30 minutes. We do not train any model on your data or keep copies.
Yes — that tool is 100% client-side. We use the browser's Canvas API to re-encode JPG/PNG/WebP; no image bytes ever leave your device. You can verify in DevTools → Network: zero requests fire when you compress.
Because Windows does not ship with a HEIC codec by default. HEIC to JPG converts Apple's format to universally compatible JPG in seconds. Batch conversion is supported — drop the whole Photos export and get a ZIP back.
Up to 20 files per batch, with a combined size limit of 100 MB. Larger batches can be split into multiple jobs. The result is delivered as a single ZIP file.
JPG does not support transparency, so we ask you to choose a fill colour (white by default) before conversion. If you need to keep the transparency, stick with PNG or WebP, or use Remove Background to get a clean transparent PNG.
By default yes — the Lock Ratio toggle is on. Uncheck it if you want to stretch the image, or use one of the fixed presets (Instagram square, 16:9 video thumbnail, HD / 4K) to snap to standard dimensions.
